The USDA Service Center participated in the 2015 Giles County Fair by setting up a display table inside the Agriculture building. Three agencies were represented: Farm Service Agency (FSA), Giles County Soil Conservation District (SCD), and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Each agency featured information with pamphlets and brochures concerning the Farm Bill, Soil Health, and programs available to the farmers. This year’s fair was held from August 24th thru the 30th.

Several first place winning ribbons were awarded to children of the agency employees. Vice-Chairman Larry Dickey of the Giles County SCD was awarded first place for his entry of local Honey.
